What we collect

If you play as a guest, we don't ask for any personal information. Your browser stores a random guest ID in local storage so your guesses on today's puzzle can be counted, and your results may be included in anonymous aggregate stats (like how many players solved today's puzzle).

If you create an account (with Google sign-in or with an email and password), we store your email address and the name on your account. We also store your game results — guesses, wins, streaks, and guess distribution — so you can track them across devices.

Preferences. Your sound on/off choice is saved in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.

Site analytics. We use basic, privacy-friendly analytics provided by our hosting platform to count visits and pageviews. We do not run advertising trackers.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and we don't share your information with third parties beyond what's needed to run the site (sign-in, database, and hosting).

Cookies and local storage

We use browser local storage for the guest ID, your sound preference, and keeping you signed in. We don't use third-party advertising cookies.

Deleting your data

You can delete your guest data anytime by clearing your browser's local storage for this site. To delete your account and stored stats, email us at contact@dailygamele.com from the email address on your account and we'll remove it.
